Australian Idol - Final 3

There is a God. And He has taste.

All that remains to be said is: Go Damien. He's grown the most during the competition, and I've been really impressed with him. Plus, he's a fun guy to watch and has a smooth, smooth voice. Not to mention an amazing falsetto range.

Jessica's a great singer and everything, but I think more people would buy an album by Damien than an album by Jess. She just isn't different enough from any other singer out there.

Plus, I think we've all had enough of teenage "divas" for a while.

i dont think ive ever said that i wanted dean to win. my friend and i were on th ephone as they were reading out the final two and we both sighed in relief as he was sent home. as sandi said 'there is some justice in the world'.
dean isnt a great singer, and i think he's probably thankful that he's been voted out since for the last few weeks its only been his looks that have kept him there.

actually, i read an interview with him that pretty much sums it up:

interviewer: wow, it must have come as quite a shock to you to get voted off last night?
dean: actually no, i was shocked i lasted this long, to be honest. now i can concentrate on song writing and becoming a better singer.
interviewer: so whats next for mr dean geyer then? a record deal with sony? some more modelling perhaps?
dean: right now i just want to get into carlys pants so she can teach me a thing or two

see? its pretty clear, dont you think?

Sorry to go completely off topic, but I've written you another song...

Ode to the Vanished TGYH Reviews (to be (loosely) sung to the tune of Crocodile Rock)

I remember seeing your first Review
And you said we could rely on you
To supply a new one each week
When we’d read what they said with their tongue in their cheek
And the biggest thrill we ever got
Was to log onto your Blogspot
And check out what Frank had done
or Hamish or Shaun…..or when they all dressed as Nuns

Well, times changing, Season’s over and the thrill has all but gone
And the question still remains; will you get the last 2 done?
Go on Bevis, we’re on your side
Cheering loudly as you write
Please, oh please don’t leave them out of sight

Please, please, please, please, please, please (etc to the La la’s)

Hope that inspires you...

Wow, Colls Bolls - that's really impressive!!

:)

Despite your impatience, the above song parody is so clever that I won't chastise you for constantly being on my case about the TGYH reviews.

However, due to not having much 'spare time' this week while my brother's been visiting from Sydney, the reviews may not appear for another week or so yet.

They WILL come, though.

I promise.

I had such a great time trying to write it, I may do some more just for the sake of it.
